#010 Christmas is going to look different this year. And that's okay. You're being responsible for not only yourself/ your family but for others as the world deals with a global pandemic. Take heart though - the reason for the season has not changed. You can still have joy this Christmas. All it takes is the right focus. Once you have that, you have all that you need. In this second episode, I talk with Estherine King Davis, a breast cancer survivor. She takes us through her initial diagnosis through recovery while also giving us tips that will help others persevere through their trials. In the podcast, Davis mentions Triple Negative Breast Cancer. A Triple Negative Breast Cancer does not have estrogen or progesterone receptors. It also does not have HER2 receptors. HER2 is a protein on the outside of the breast cells. The Triple Negative Breast Cancer is a type of breast cancer that may not respond to common treatments, which adds an additional level of uncertainty in this type of diagnosis.
