She takes us through her initial diagnosis through recovery while also giving us tips that will help others persevere through their trials. In the podcast, Davis mentions Triple Negative Breast Cancer. A Triple Negative Breast Cancer does not have estrogen or progesterone receptors. It also does not have HER2 receptors. HER2 is a protein on the outside of the breast cells. The Triple Negative Breast Cancer is a type of breast cancer that may not respond to common treatments, which adds an additional level of uncertainty in this type of diagnosis. In this first podcast, I highlight my journey and also discuss some things that may keep people from getting started on their journey. Listen in.
